Pick you up from your cruise port in Shanghai by our private English tour guide & driver at 8am. Drive to Zhouzhuang Water Town. Zhouzhuang is the finest remaining example of a traditional water village. Along the banks of its central canal sit old plaster dwellings, surrounded by fine stone bridges and lush weeping willows.  This tour offers a perfect retreat from the frenetic pace of Shanghai, and a taste of the rarely-seen rural areas of north Jiangsu province. Your guide will accompany you to visit the Shen Family Residence, Zhang Family Residence, Double Bridge, Fuan Bridge, and the Old Town. After lunch, take a cruise down the canal and listen to the fishermen’s ancient songs drifting over the water.
